Detail Information
Japanese Light-Colored Soy Sauce for Seafood, Simmered Dishes, Dashi, Tempura & Delicate Foods
Yinghok Usukuchi Shoyu is a Japanese-style light-colored soy sauce developed for dishes where maintaining the natural color and appearance of ingredients is important.
It features a light amber color, relatively higher saltiness and a clean savory profile, making it suitable for seasoning seafood, vegetables, clear soups, dashi-based dishes and other delicate Japanese foods.
Compared with darker soy sauces, Usukuchi Shoyu can provide savory seasoning while contributing less dark color to the finished dish.
The product is suitable for Japanese restaurants, foodservice distributors, central kitchens, food manufacturers, retail brands and private label programs. It has strict quality control, having passed multiple certifications(FDA,BRCGS, HALAL,etc) and being guaranteed by an advanced production line in terms of quality.
To cater to the diverse requirements of our global clientele, we provide two product versions: our classic standard Usukuchi Shoyu, and dedicated Halal-certified Usukuchi Shoyu to support your halal-compliant menu offerings.

How To Use Usukuchi Shoyu (Non-Halal Version) ?
Usukuchi Shoyu is suitable for light-colored dishes like steamed fish and boiled vegetables, as it seasons without overshadowing the ingredients' natural colors. It can also be added to Japanese dashi (stock) to balance umami or used in preparing tempura dipping sauce and chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) to highlight the original flavors of ingredients. With a refreshing taste and higher saltiness, it pairs well with mirin or citrus to adjust the palate, effortlessly adding a savory touch to dishes while preserving their natural color and original flavor.
